Anita Barone
Anita Barone is a versatile stage actress who's mostly confined to TV sitcoms. She first got a breakthrough in the medium as she got married to Jeff Foxworthy during "The Jeff Foxworthy Show," a show that aired ABC between 1995 to 1996. Barone performed on stage when she was just age five in Detroit when her family relocated out of St Louis. In her early twenties Barone was on stage in over 50 plays mostly at university productions as well as regional theatres. The stage credits she played included Juliet in Romeo and Juliet, Helen Keller in a re-imagining of "Monday after the Miracle" in addition to the part as Agnes the teen, tortured nun in "Agnes of the Gods." Her first screen appearance came in the form of a small part in "The Rozary Murders" as well as a small role in "Ricochet" along with she played the lead role in the indie romantic comedy "Just Friends", in 1996. Barone made her debut Hollywood job as a part of Carol & Company (NBC, 1990-91) - the ill-fated attempt to be a part of Carol Burnett in trying to revive the comedy sketch show. Barone also starred in the 1995 USA Network movie, "Wounded Heart". She eventually came back to her regular routine on sitcoms, costarring with Michael Chiklis on "Daddio".
